How It Works
The V2L discharger simulates a DC fast charging session, triggering your Tesla to engage its high-voltage battery contactor. Once activated, the device safely reroutes DC power from the battery into its internal DC-to-AC inverter. This onboard inverter converts the ~400 V DC into standard 120 V or 240 V AC power, delivering up to 5 kW (240V) / 3.5 kW (120V) of continuous output—enough to power household appliances, tools, and electronics with ease. The vehicle must have CCS support enabled to ensure compatibility with the discharger! Not compatible with 500V+ vehicles!
Works for
